Copyright Lisa Sarsfield 2009First of all I apologise to all of you who’ve been to visit my blog and there’s been nothing new! I have had one of those weeks were computer time has been very hard to find. I have been out and about with my camera though:)I had to take the car in for it’s 6 monthly warrant so I made the most of the time I would have spent waiting by going for a walk along the boardwalk near by. The Judea boardwalk is not it’s official name as it actually goes much further than Judea in  both directions.  It’s an interesting walk- the view, the wildlife and the diverse plants make it quite unique and if you’re a photographer it makes for a seemingly endless choice of subjects!

If you have very good eyesight you can just make out the main port to the right of the Mount.

These are just a  few I took of the  views of Mount Maunganui and the grasses and mangroves that not only help filter the water but provide food and shelter for many types of wildlife.
