Judea Boardwalk. Tauranga DP#90

First of all I apologise to all of you who’ve been to visit my blog and there’s been nothing new! I have had one of those weeks were computer time has been very hard to find. I have been out and about with my camera though:)I had to take the car in for it’s 6 monthly warrant so I made the most of the time I would have spent waiting by going for a walk along the boardwalk near by. The Judea boardwalk is not it’s official name as it actually goes much further than Judea in  both directions.  It’s an interesting walk- the view, the wildlife and the diverse plants make it quite unique and if you’re a photographer it makes for a seemingly endless choice of subjects!

If you have very good eyesight you can just make out the main port to the right of the Mount.

These are just a  few I took of the  views of Mount Maunganui and the grasses and mangroves that not only help filter the water but provide food and shelter for many types of wildlife.

The white patches that can be seen here are spiders nests.
