Funny: it is spring and you can buy xmas trees… I would have to get used to that when I lived there 😉 Xmas means: dark, cold, candles, lights in the windows: well, no snow for the last x years
I like the “verticality”. The arrow pointing up, the flowers that seem so amazingly poised on tall thin stems.
And the green mailboxes all clustered together, Christmasy color balance to the red letters in the sign.
A whole world to itself as it stretches up off the page…

I envy countries that can have real trees for their Christmas trees. None here in Manila — too warm for pine or fir.

Do they just cut the pinetrees or do they sell them in pots? I think you can still buy a cut tree here, but I would put an end on that if I could…

Does Santa make it that far south?
I would ask Santa for world peace.
Or a lisa.lens.
My best.

Already? Actually, I guess we are coming up on that, aren’t we? Boy, how time flies.
Hey, could you send some of your warm temperatures this way? I’m cold today!
